A bailiff from Tatarstan collected money from debtors and embezzled

A bailiff from Tatarstan, Liliya Kalashnikova, will stand trial for misappropriation of collected debts: in less than a month and a half of work, the bailiff received 128 thousand rubles from 11 debtors and took all the money for herself. 41-year-old Kalashnikova was charged under Part 3 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (misappropriation committed using official position) and Part 1 of Art. 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of official powers), reports the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office. The department clarified that the accused worked as a bailiff of the Moscow district department of Kazan, and collected the funds indicated in the investigation materials from July 25 to August 31, 2014. The case was sent for consideration on the merits to the Moskovsky District Court of Kazan.
