A ninth-grade student in one of the schools in the Kirovsky district of Tomsk shot two eighth-graders with an air pistol; the children were injured, but did not require hospitalization. “One victim received one-time medical assistance and was sent home, the second victim refused medical assistance,” reports the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Tomsk Region. In connection with the shooting, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Art. 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (beatings for hooligan reasons), examinations were ordered, and the student was questioned by investigators.
