Sergey Yursky in the radio composition of Igor Pomerantsev

On March 16, 80 years old Sergey Yuryevich Yursky, actor, director, screenwriter, poet. "On top of the barriers" has its own history of relations with the Yursky. In 1994, in the Moscow Studio "Freedom" I recorded with him the radio review "Favorians of Mr. Fabra."

A few words about this composition. It is based on the texts of Jean-Henri Fabra, Marseille Proust and the author’s speech itself. Jean-Henri Fabr —Frantsuic entomologist (1823-1915). He did not belong to professional scientists. He worked as a provincial teacher in Provence, examined insects in his free time. The author of ten -volume "entomological memories." The language of his books is not dried with professional jargon, his intonation is emotional, alive. Fabr is a classic type of science scientist, amateur with glimpses of genius. In the course of work on the play, to Sergey Yursky, I suggested deviating from the text, laugh, insert interjections, introductory words, change words of words under “my voice”, hang out to the birds, stir the beetles, bees, mosquitoes, in short, to talk. So in the studio a conversation of interesting interlocutors began to each other. Before the sound engineer of the performance by Frank Williams, there was another task: the creation of an acoustic drama from brigbling, trifles, buzzing, chatter. In the radio, genuine insects sound. Summer Frank spends on the Greek island - he has a house there. Once he brought me a concert for grasshoppers, crickets and dragonflies, composed and performed by Mediterranean insects. Frank recorded them at dawn, so that the cleanliness of the chatter, God forbid, did not break the rustle of the bicycle or the crack of the motorcycle. This concert came in handy for us.
