
Satir writer Arkady Arkanov died in the Central Clinical Hospital at the 82nd year of life. This was reported on the website of the Moscow Academic Satire Theater, with which Arkanov collaborated.
On Friday, against the backdrop of oncological disease, Arkanov had chest pain. Then the doctors did not take him to the hospital. The next day, he felt bad and began to suffocate. Arriving doctors brought the writer to one of the departmental clinics.
Arkanov was born on June 7, 1933 in Kyiv. He is the author of more than 20 works, including scripts for television films.
Performances for Arkanov’s plays were staged at the Moscow Satire Theater. He also led several television programs, including “around laughter” and “white parrot”.
