In St. Petersburg, protesters were detained against the Nationalists forum

In St. Petersburg, the police detained the picket participants against the Congress of European Hortrand Congress. This was announced on Twitter by The New Times correspondent Pavel Nikulin. Several dozen people lined up in a column near the Holiday Inn Hotel, where the event took place, and chanted anti -Nazi slogans.

According to the site of the police department, eight anti -fascists were detained. They were delivered to the 29th police department of the Moscow district. The police also detained one nationalist.

The protests against the rally of the Nazis took place in the city for two days in a row. So on the eve, Nikulin reported that the anti -fascists protesting against the congress were blocked for 20 minutes. Activists walked along the roadway of the main street of the city, holding a banner "Nazis, from everywhere!". The police did not detain anyone.

In addition, unknown people hung an anti -fascist banner opposite the hotel building shortly before the forum starts.

Among the participants of the International Russian Conservative Forum, held under the patronage of the Prochremlin Party "Rodina, are members of European nation, including those represented in the European Parliament. Among them, the Greek "Golden Dawn", "Strong Italy", as well as the National Democratic Party of Germany, calling itself the successor to the NSDAP. Also, the American ultra -right writer Gerad Taylor, author of the Beloy Identity, was specially invited to the forum.

The correspondent of Kommersant Grigory Tumanov published on his twitter a photograph of neo -Nazi Alexei Milchakov, who came to the forum. He gained fame in the blogosphere several years ago, when he published on the Web his photos with cut off dog heads. Currently, Milchakov is fighting on the side of the militants of the Donetsk "People’s Republic".

The forum participants, in their own words, met in order to "protect traditional values" and "unite Europe with Russia, which the United States quarreled."

On Sunday evening, the forum was interrupted after a message about the laid explosive device.
