Maidan convened in Dnepropetrovsk
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Denisenko called on the residents of the city to come out on the evening of March 25 to the Heroes of Maidan Square to oppose President Petro Poroshenko.
“The time has come to convene a national assembly in Dnepropetrovsk. I hope that this will be a popular veche for national unity, against the degeneration of the entire democratic regime into an authoritarian and totalitarian regime, against revenge and attempts to split Ukraine,” the deputy said.
Denisenko claims that Poroshenko made a secret deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin, promising to remove Dnepropetrovsk governor Igor Kolomoisky. According to the deputy, the “secret protocol” to the Minsk agreements also contains a clause on the destruction of the “Right Sector”.
“Putin broke his teeth about Dnepropetrovsk region, Poroshenko will break them too ... Petro Poroshenko has nothing to do with the Revolution of Dignity. He is afraid of the third Maidan, but in fact the second revolution has not yet ended,” the deputy announced .
Denisenko and three other deputies of the Verkhovna Rada - Valentin Didych, Alexander Dubinin and Vitaly Kupriy - announced their withdrawal from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction.
“Let me set a time, just like we did during the Maidan. On Wednesday, to make people feel comfortable after work, at 18:00 on the central square - on the Heroes of Maidan Square in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. We will hold a new popular assembly and hear the voices of the people,” Denisenko said.
