A big wave

I just came out of the Pacific Ocean alive with an observation that is quite applicable to political life.
When a big wave comes at you, whose capabilities are obviously incomparable with yours, you have two chances. Either quietly dive under it in time so that this inevitable horror passes over your head, or try to use the inertia of the wave by turning 180 degrees in time and tucking your legs.
If circumstances are successful, you can even try to ride this horror. But at a minimum, you should not resist the current vector. Then, you see, he drags you a little and then lets go.
