Saudi Arabia, standing at the head of the coalition of Muslim countries, where the Sunni monarchs and rulers are in power, began a military operation in the Yemen-covered war against the Group of Husthian rebels, supported by Shiite Iran in the Yemen’s civilian war. The internal Yemenic conflict today can cause a sharp exacerbation of the situation in the entire region and threaten the supply of all Middle Eastern oil to Western and Asian markets - which immediately affects the growth of world oil prices.
The Air Forces of Saudi Arabia continue to apply massive blows to the Yemeni capital of Sanya, the largest port of Aden and other villages and objects in the territory of Yemen, captured by a militarized group of Husites , consisting of representatives of local tribes, professing the so-called Zeydite Shiism . The Saudi authorities announced the creation under their leadership, after consultations with the United States, the international coalition "to restore order" in Yemen, which also included Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan. Washington has already promised Er-Riyad political, informational and technical support, although the US armed forces will not take any participation in the operation.

Military-political instability in Yemen has been continuing since 2011 , after resigning after mass anti-government speeches, which is considered part of the "Arab Spring", which ruled President Ali Abdullah Salekh for many years. For the past three years, the country formally ruled by the new President of Abd Rabba Mansur Hadi, who declared himself an ally of the West in the fight against international terrorism, but in fact, chaos reigned in Yemen all the time-dozens of armed groups of various calibers formed and fought among themselves, formed according to national-religious and ideological principles, including terrorist. "Al-Qaeda", "Islamic State" and " Ansar al-Sharia ."
Since mid -2014, clashes began in Yemen with government troops and all other groups of the Husit detachments, sharply strengthening their influence with the help of Tehran and performing under the slogans of the “protection of Shiites from Sunni pressure”. They require autonomy for the northern mountain regions of the country, inhabited mainly by Shiites, although the majority of the population of Yemen professes Sunni Islam. In January 2015, the Hussites seized the capital of the sanctuary, dismissed parliament and the government, and President Hadi, who first resigned because of the threats, fled and until recently was hidden in the southern port city of Aden .

On the night of March 26, most of the government army passed to the side of the Khusitov. The rebels captured the International Airport, the Sea Port and the Presidential Palace of El Maashik, but the few troops faithful to the president, after heavy battles, managed to take control of part of the city again. The head of state, Mansur Hadi, as it became known on the evening of March 26, with the help of Saudi commandos moved to Riyadh.
Foreign Minister Yemen Riad Yassin, even before the rebellion of the Yemeni military, turned on Wednesday in the Egyptian city of Sharm-Esh-shih to the heads of all Arab countries with a request for urgent assistance, after which Saudi Arabia decided to start attacks on the positions of the Husites:
- Yemen’s enemies include not only the Husites, former President Ali Abdula Salekh and Iran - time plays against us, it is not on our side. I will say directly - there is still the opportunity to quickly introduce foreign troops in order to save Yemen from the unknown, from the civil war and from turning it into the Iranian protectorate, bordering on Saudi Arabia. Because then Iran will take control of the Bab-El-Manda Strait . Much better and cheaper for everyone will intervene now. If we are late, they will take possession of Yemen and it will be very difficult to squeeze them out of there!
The representative of the Khusitov movement in an interview with Al-Juzira reported about hundreds of victims as a result of bombing and called Saudi Arabia a declaration of war. Eyewitnesses report strong destruction in Yemeni cities. About 100 Saudi-bombers participate in the raids, in addition, Saudi tanks, artillery and ground forces are pulled to the border with Yemen, at a total of at least 150 thousand people , and the operation can go to the ground stage at any time.
Today, Saudi Arabia is seriously afraid of the flow of the current Yemensky conflict, which turned into a civil war and, in its opinion, inspired by Iran, into its own territory, into the southern and eastern regions of the kingdom, where the percentage of Shiites is also great - and where the most promising and richest oil reserves are located.
The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the United States Adele al-Jubeir on behalf of his monarch Salman and the government said: “The fall of Yemen in Chaos is unacceptable for us and our coalition partners,” adding that the goal of the operation is to “protect the legitimate government of the country”, headed by President Mansour Hadi. He also noted that air strikes can be delivered on targets in any part of Yemen:
Adele al-Jubeir at a press conference in Washington. March 25
- This decision was not easy for us. We comprehensively considered the possible consequences and carefully consulted with many of our allies around the world, especially and first of all with the United States. We will do our best to protect the legal government of Yemen from any threat, both from local groups, and from the outside. There was a situation in which illegal armed detachments can gain control over ballistic missiles, heavy weapons, and air forces. As far as I remember the story, it has not yet happened that any illegal dull formations have owned combat aircraft! This is a very dangerous precedent, and we must do everything to protect the Yemenian people and their legal rulers. I can say that in the territory of Saudi Arabia parts of the Air Force of other states have already been deployed, and many will soon arrive in our kingdom to also participate in this operation.
The United Arab Emirates sent Saudi Arabia to participate in the operation in Yemen 30 military aircraft, 15 aircraft were provided by Bahrain and Kuwait, 10 - Qatar, Jordan and Morocco - 3. In the afternoon of March 26, the words of the Saudi ambassador in the United States about the participation of other Arab states in Yemen were confirmed states Nabil al-Arabi, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt by Shukri themselves :
- To respond to a call for help from the Yemenian President Mansur Hadi was our duty. Egypt declares the political and military support of Yemen’s legal authorities and the decision to join the Koalition forces, with the involvement of our air and military forces, as well as the Ground Forces, if necessary. In Egypt, there was always historical responsibility for maintaining overall security in the Arab world.

US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Thursday that Washington was in every possible way welcomes the beginning of an international military operation against the Husit group in Yemen. The United States, according to the White House, should provide assistance to Arab countries, who decided to put an end to extremists who intend to use Yemen as a shelter and, potentially, prepare blows to Western states.
Simultaneously with the sharp condemnation of the actions of Saudi Arabia and its "Sunni" allies in Yemen, as expected, its main rival in the Muslim world, Shiite Iran, acted. The head of the Iranian foreign ministry Javad Zarif said that Tehran had never provided any military or financial support to the Yemeni Husites:
-The military operation, especially the armed invasion, prepared and carried out from behind the limits of Yemen, will not bring any results except the bloody massacre, suffering and mass death of Yemenic citizens.
The news of the beginning of the military operation of Saudi Arabia in Yemen and the likelihood that this state can cause and a platform for an open armed conflict of the Kingdom of Saudi with Iran have instantly affected oil prices in world markets that sharply went up. All oil supplies from the Persian Gulf countries are carried out through two narrow straits- Ormuzsky, between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula , and Bab-El-Mandebsky, between Yemen and Africa . Both of these straits, which have always had strategic importance for the global economy (and extremely vulnerable from a military point of view), today theoretically can become an arena of military operations.
