
On Sunday, the Moscow Basmanny Court authorized the arrest of the former head of the Moscow Judicial Department Vyacheslav Lipuzin, suspected of theft of budget funds in the amount of more than 300 million rubles . Thus, the investigation was satisfied, but the judge did not heed the arguments of the lawyers, Interfax reports. Lipper was arrested until May 24.
After the decision is announced, the suspect’s lawyer told TASS that "this decision will be appealed in the appeal instance." According to her, in the Moscow City Court, the defense plans to present medical documents testifying to lipuzine diseases and its poor health.
The day before, the representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia Vladimir Markin said that the director of Rabikon LLC Umar Zabobetov, as well as the former head of the Moscow Judicial Department Vyacheslav Lipuzin, were detained in the case.
According to the investigation, the leadership of Rabikon LLC submitted to the Moscow Department of the Judicial Department of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation false decisions of the judicial authorities to pay labor to the translator, as a result of which more than 300 million rubles were stolen from the budget of the Russian Federation.
The story with the payment of translators involved in work in Moscow courts was fame when at a meeting of the metropolitan Council of judges, the issue of a possible reduction in expenses by 30%was discussed. It turned out that if in 2013 about 250 million rubles were spent on payment to the translators, then in 2014 - already 300 million. The materials were sent to law enforcement agencies for verification.
