Alexander Dugin at a rally in support of New Russia, June 11, 2014
Our liberal camp was never distinguished by a strong ideological fuel. There was no need to invent anything: the western model of the luminaries in the sky, like a star. I remember my conversations at the beginning of the zero with Boris Nemtsov and Irina Hakamad on the topic of the “liberal empire”, which could become the slogan of the Democrats: it was not going further than this phrase.
Meanwhile, in the opposite, conservative camp at the same time, at the beginning of the zero, universal values were questioned first, and then they were solemnly cursed. It took the latest bloody clash of civilizations so that there was a need to understand the ideological platform of the Russian authorities.
One of the models of such a comprehension is in the book of the editor -in -chief of the French magazine Philosophie Magazine that Michel Yelchaninoff “In the head of Vladimir Putin”.
The philosophical weakness of our opposition is that she sincerely sees only “crooks and thieves” in the enemy, and this shitty definition limits access to understanding the authorities. It is widely believed that if the president quotes conservative Russian philosophers of the XIX-XX centuries in his speeches, then this is so, for the sake of a red word, and that power has not decided on its ideological preferences. But the deep immersion in a particular ideology is not necessary, it is enough to determine the vector. Brezhnev and his associates also did not deeply “plunge” into Marxism- Leninism, but this did not prevent them from invading Czechoslovakia and Afghanistan under the banner of the fight against imperialism. Moreover, it was the sign belonging to Marxism-Leninism, to the universal concept of communism made it possible for them to feel the blood, regardless of the number of corpses.
In the current situation, judging by the book of Michel Yelchaninoff, things are more complicated. A universal ideological model, capable of working anywhere in the world, has not yet been created in the Kremlin. Only a political and metaphysical confrontation between the “absolute evil”, which is the modern West, and the absolute good good of the “Russian world”, has been worked out. The “Russian world” itself stands about the same grounds as during the time of Nikolai the First and Alexander the Third, and this secondary or even tertiary theoretical base in freshness resembles a thawed fish. However, there is fish itself, just some additional spices are added to it today.
Well, for example, the spice of Stalinism, not led in royal times. Then the spice of almost hand -to -hand struggle with same -sex marriages, tolerance and dechristianization of Europe. There are also additives not only from the insanely bright Konstantin Leontyev, but also from Ivan Ilyin closer to us in time (Berdyaev could not stand his closeness to fascism) and Lev Gumilyov. In short, to eat.
Conservative reversal, phantom pains caused by the cut parts of the former USSR, the Russian path and the Eurasian dream - this is what now determines our spiritual food. “False Friends” are also attached to this: the tendentially read and nastyly understood Dostoevsky (“Writer’s Diary”, anti-liberal passages in connection with the figure of the Verkhovensky Sr.-read, Turgenev-in “demons”), as well as Berdyaev himself with his “philosophy of inequality” and “Russian idea”. Moreover, a bunch of our passionate contemporaries - prophets of the third world, supporters of friendship with China and India, dreaming of dividing the neighboring country with a sword in the Dnieper.
Of course, the theoretical program of Eurasianism itself is no worse than many other theoretical programs. However, the mistake of the liberal reformers of the 90s was that they carried out their reforms for the theoretical population, and the mistake of the current government, savvy in Eurasianism, in the same. The population has nothing to do with Gumilev, or Ilyin, or Eurasianism, nor to the new round of populism.
The authorities believe that it was connected with the population in a victorious impulse. But this is a misconception. The conscious conservatism of the president and the archaic consciousness of the masses are only outwardly similar things. A triumphant dance with a spear has nothing to do with a long and obscure by the result of the road to the east. In its political philosophy, power can rely only on itself, as in Nicholas Palkin.

But how much can you rely on it? There is also the second rake. Also known in domestic history, but not taken into account now. As there is no ideal people suitable for the Eurasian campaign, there are no ideal performers, ideal ideologists of the highest (but not divine) will. The bureaucracy is sleeping any philosophy, and the reign of the best, which, according to Ilyin, requires a leader, will turn into amorphous corruption in practice.
Today, for various reasons, Europe is not in the best form and has already received a couple of sensitive blows from the Eurasian philosophy of war. She was too frivolously examined the country weakened after the collapse of the USSR as a disabled person who wrapping along the way to Europe. Then she clearly missed.
But the current opponents of Europe, who challenged her, did not take into account: democracy is able to mobilize and fight back - after all, its values are not reduced to same -sex marriages. To survive, the supporters of Eurasianism will need to compose a global philosophy similar to a communist, but directly opposite to the sign: for example, to create an international union of patriots-conservatives of all countries. But such a union is fraught with dissonances and explosive: each of his member deep down will support only his traditional culture, and he will not have enough love cultures. It seems that dance with a spear is not eternal.
