This was reported in his blog on the Hermitage website, its director Mikhail Piotrovsky. He writes that the museum “determined the priority categories of visitors in need of special support from the museum; These are: children, students, domestic pensioners and all Russian citizens. ”
“In the difficult socio-economic conditions (inflation, mutual sanctions and reducing the real value of salaries), the State Hermitage considers it right to preserve special proposals (prices) for citizens of the Russian Federation (upon presentation of a document confirming citizenship),” Piotrovsky said.
The Hermitage retains all free (13) and preferential (3) categories of visitors (they make up up to a third of all visitors to the museum), including free tickets for students from any country in the world, as well as for Russian pensioners.
On the first Thursday of each month, the entrance to the Hermitage will still be free. In addition, a separate fee for the use of amateur photo and video equipment is canceled.
“Given the increase in the museum exhibition space this year, an Hermitage Hermitage is introducing a single ticket with the right to visit all the objects of the museum within one day, with the right to photograph individual exhibitions: 600 rubles,” writes Piotrovsky. - For citizens of the Russian Federation, we introduce a special offer - a ticket for 400 rubles, allowing us to visit the main museum complex, the main headquarters, the winter palace of Peter I and all temporary exhibitions in these buildings and, by the way, gives, by the way, the right to photograph. ”
The director of the Hermitage emphasizes that the prices for tickets to his museum are much lower than in most of the largest museums in Russia and other countries.
