The new director of the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (NGATOIB) Vladimir Kekhman decided to exclude the Tangaiser opera from the repertoire in the production of director Timofei Kulyabin.

Nevertheless, he is forced to report that the Tangaer is being removed from the repertoire. "

As one of the reasons for this decision, Kekhman named that he was not able to meet with Kulyabin, who, according to the new director of Ngatoib, is hiding from him. The second reason is “Theater has not yet paid off the conductor Ainars Rubikis for two Tangazer performances, which he spent in March 2015.”

“Thus, there is no more intrigue. I suggest that all parties put an end to this issue, ”Kekhman concluded.

Today, March 31, he began to fulfill the duties of the director of the Ngatoib. Kehman was appointed to this post instead of Boris Mazhrich, dismissed by the Ministry of Culture for "unwillingness to take into account values ​​that have developed in society, for disrespect for citizens and non -compliance with the recommendations of the founder."

Tannanizer has been going to Ngatoib since December 2014. Timofei Kulyabin transferred the action of Wagner's opera to the present, making a knight Henry Tangayzer film director.

At the end of February, according tothe statement of the Metropolitan of Novosibirsk and Berdsky Tikhon, who saw the desecration of religious symbols in the production, the Novosibirsk prosecutor’s office started administrative affairs against Mazhrich and Kulyabin.

On March 10, the magistrate court in Novosibirsk decided to stop proceedings in connection with the lack of a composition of the offense, but the prosecutor's office appealed the court decision. Maddrich’s case will be obeyed in the Central District Court of Novosibirsk on April 3, Kulyabina - April 6.

On March 13, Metropolitan Tikhon, in a letter to the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Vladimir Gorodetsky, said that a public dialogue in connection with the Tangaiser is possible only after its exclusion in the current form from the NGATOIB repertoire.

On March 30, the Ministry of Culture appealed to the Novosibirsk diocese with a request to withdraw an application to the prosecutor’s office about the play “Tangaizer”.
