The Reimer was detained on charges of embezzlement of about 3 billion rubles, which were allocated for the purchase of electronic bracelets. According to the investigation, the suspects allowed an unlawful refusal to conduct an open auction for the supply of SEMPL equipment and influenced pricing. In addition, the need for equipment was deliberately overestimated. At the end of last year, out of 23,900 purchased sets, only 9 375 were used.

On February 26, the Investigative Committee announced a pre -investigation audit in connection with a waste of budget funds allocated for the purchase of electronic bracelets.
