“It’s Hard to Be a God” received “Nick”

The national film award "Nika" for 2014 in the nomination "Best Feature Film" was awarded to Alexei German's film "It's Hard to Be a God".

Herman, who died in February 2013, was also awarded Best Director.

The award for the best male role was received by Leonid Yarmolnik ("It's hard to be a god"). Elena Lyadova (“Leviathan”) was recognized as the best actress. Awards for supporting roles went to Roman Madyanov (Leviathan) and Daria Moroz (The Fool).

The prize for camera work was awarded to Vladimir Ilyin and Yuri Klimenko ("It's hard to be a god"). Yury Bykov (The Fool) won the Best Screenplay award.

The Ukrainian film "The Tribe" directed by Miroslav Slaboshpitsky was recognized as the best film of the CIS and Baltic countries.

Previously, the winners of honorary awards were announced. Liya Akhedzhakova became the winner of "Nika" in the nomination "Honor and Dignity". Naum Kleiman, founder of the Museum of Cinema, was awarded for his contribution to cinematographic sciences, criticism and education, and screenwriter Yuri Klepikov for his outstanding contribution to Russian cinema.
