The governor is not the only patriot of the peninsula, whose relatives live far beyond its borders. I do not think that the inhabitants of the region are pleased with such a violent international activity of a person who formally is their representative.

It is unlikely that another bright representative of the Kamchatka policy, State Duma deputy Irina Yarov, will ever return to permanent residence in Petropavlovsk. Once the most severe critic, and now the fiery patriot of United Russia, back in 2006, recorded a gorgeous apartment in the center of Moscow.

I will add that among local politicians it is considered a good tone to give their children an education somewhere outside the peninsula. Few students after studying return to their native penalties. For example, Vitya Melekhin (the son of a businessman and a deputy famous in Kamchatka from United Russia Eduard Melekhin), having studied at the university, remained living in Moscow.
