Georgy Alburov, an employee of the Anti-Corruption Foundation founded by Alexei Navalny, who is accused of stealing a painting by the Vladimir artist Sergei Sotov, asked the court to change his preventive measure, since he is required to travel to the Moscow region for work. Alburov is under house arrest. The court allowed the accused to leave Moscow, but no further than the Moscow region.
Witnesses appear in court. In particular, they listened to Alexei Navalny, who had a painting discovered during a search. Navalny said that the initiation of the case was initiated by the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Vyacheslav Volodin, and deputy chairman of the Duma, Sergei Neverov, in connection with the fact that the FBK announced that they had undeclared dachas.
Alburov asked to summon Volodin, as well as Timur Prokopenko, deputy head of the internal policy department, to court in connection with the fact that fragments of his sms correspondence, which mention the theft of the painting, were made public on the Internet. The court refused, offering Alburov to deliver Volodin on his own.
