Daria Polyudova appealed to the ECHR

Daria Polyudova, who has been prosecuted under Article 280.1 (propaganda of separatism) for organizing the “March for the Federalization of Kuban,” has applied to the ECHR, writes Vedomosti . The activist argues that the initiation of a criminal case for criticizing the authorities, as well as prolonged detention on such a charge, are disproportionate and too harsh in relation to her actions.
