Judge of the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow Elena Maksimova sentenced three activists of the Sheremetyevo union of flight personnel to real terms in a general regime colony. Executive Director of SPLS Alexei Shlyapnikov received six and a half years, vice -president of the trade union Valery Pimoshenko - six years, deputy of the Council of the Mozhaisk district of the Moscow Region, a former Aeroflot pilot Sergey Knyshov - five years.

She found all three Maksimova in part 3 of Article 30 - Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (attempted theft by deception on an especially large scale). She appointed the defendants exactly the terms as the prosecutor requested. At the same time, Maksimova noticed that in the cases of Pimoshenko and Knyshov there are mitigating circumstances. For Pimoshenko, she called the disability of group III as a result of a professional injury, as well as the presence of an elderly mother and a child on dependent, for Knyshov - the presence of children.

Activists themselves did not admit guilt. They called their criminal prosecution the result of the provocation of Aeroflot.

Maksimova, however, considered proven that in August 2009, Shlyapnikov and Pimoshenko demanded 100 million rubles from the leadership of Aeroflot, promising in return less actively seeking payments to pilots for night flights and harmfulness. During the negotiations, approved in the case, the amount of the bribe was reduced to 30 million. In case of refusal to pay, trade union leaders allegedly threatened the publication of certain information that could lead to a change in the company's top management, as well as the organization of mass protests of the pilots.

Shlyapnikov and Pimoshenko were detained on October 18, 2013. As stated in the case, they were caught red -handed when receiving the first tranche of a bribe - 10 million rubles - from the depository of the bank. Knyshov was detained two days later.

In the next few days, all three activists were arrested . In 2014, they were released on a subscription of the loss of departure in connection with the expiration of the deadline for the deadline for the pre -trial detention center for the charges of the charges.

After the sentence is announced, RAPSI reports , the convicts were taken into custody in the courtroom.

SchPLS stated that the case against Shlyapnikov, Pimoshenko and Knyshov was fabricated. Thus, the pilots were noted, Aeroflot took revenge on the decision of the Moscow City Court, which in July 2013 ordered the company to pay off the debt to its employees for night shifts and harmfulness. In October 2013, the amount of this debt was about 1 billion rubles.

The confederation of labor of Russia also spoke in support of the accused. "We definitely trust our comrades Shlyapnikov, Pimoshenko and Knyshov, who claim that at the moment, a police provocation is being carried out against them and the SPLS trade union," the statement of KTR said.

In January and February 2014, two inconsistent shares of solidarity with Shlyapnikov, Pimoshenko and Knyshov were held in Moscow.
