The defendant in the Bolotnaya case, Alexey Polikhovich, did not apply for transfer to a penal colony and is currently in IK-6 in the Ryazan region. The wife of the convicted person, Tatyana Polikhovich, told Mediazona about this.

“Apparently, some scum decided to call Lesha’s father and thus make a joke on the first of April,” explained Polikhovich. This afternoon she spoke on the phone with her husband and he does not know about any transfer.

Earlier, Grani.ru reported that Alexey Polikhovich was transferred to a penal colony. Probably, the publication was based on the secret entry of Alexei Polikhovich’s father on Facebook. In it, the father of the convict said that he received a call from IK-6 and was told that his son’s regime had been softened.

Polikhovich’s lawyer Alexey Miroshnichenko, in a conversation with Mediazona , explained that he knows nothing about the transfer of his client to a colony-settlement: “I do not rule out that Alexey himself could have turned to the administration of the colony with a request to soften his regime, this could have happened without my participation . His relatives didn’t contact me either; the last time I saw them was about two weeks ago.”
