In the Crimean Tatar villages, Russian security forces made mass searches. In the morning, QHA reported the searches in the village of Zhuravki (Bayrach) of the Kirovsky district. The invaders burst into the houses of local residents, without indicating the goal. The interests of the security forces were attracted by the dwellings of both the Crimean Tatars and those ethnic Russians who communicate mainly with the Tatars.

Later, information was received that the invaders call completely different reasons for the searches. According to some, they are looking for prohibited literature, according to others - weapons. Such a version was also expressed that "teachings" are held in the village.

Also in the cranes, checkpoints were exhibited. The security forces inspected all the cars entering the village and leaving it. Particular attention was paid to cars with the Crimean Tatar national flag.

The head of the CEC Kurulti of the Crimean Tatar people Zair Smedlyaev regarded what was happening in the cranes as an "another action of intimidation of the Crimean Tatars." "All this is explained as anti -terrorism teachings, who is potential terrorists - it is already clear!" - remarked the activist.

“In the village, they check the storage conditions of firearms from those who have it,” added Smedlyaev. “The most interesting thing is that at the same time they are looking for a stolen motorcycle, in houses, in cabinets, chests of drawers and computers with mobile phones that are seized - without sanction and any documents.”

Later, the head of the CEC Kurultay said that according to the same scheme, searches are held in the district center of Lenino (one). “There are checkpoints around the village, there is a police with dogs, barriers,” added Smedlyaev. The security forces stated that they were looking for some participants in terrorist operations in the village of certain participants.

Also received information about searches in the Simferopol Microdistrict Fontana. Nevertheless, the head of the Simferopol Regional Majlis Lemar Yunusov did not confirm this information.
