Urlashov’s arrest was extended until June 3

The Moscow City Court extended the period of detention in the pre -trial detention center to the mayor of Yaroslavl Evgeny Urlashov until June 3. It is reported by "Mediazona".

According to lawyers, direct contact with persons passing in the case as victims was supported by General Boris Kolesnikov, deputy chief of the Main Directorate of Economic Security and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In February 2014, General Kolesnikov was detained on suspicion of abuse of authority and arrested, as well as a number of other administration employees, including his head Denis Svgorov. In June 2014, Kolesnikov died in the building of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee under unclear circumstances.

According to RAPSI, on Thursday the arrests for the period until June 3 were also extended by two other defendants in the Urlashov case - Vice -mayor of Yaroslavl Dmitry Donskov and mayor adviser Andrei Lopatin.

Urlashov was detained on the night of July 3, 2013. Two cases of attempting to receive a bribe were initiated against him. The investigation states that the mayor and his subordinates from December 2012 to July 2, 2013 extorted a bribe from the entrepreneur in the amount of 45 million rubles from the amount transferred to the company at the expense of the work performed. In addition, it is argued that in May 2013, the mayor demanded a bribe from the entrepreneur for refusing the claims in the arbitration trial in the city hall.

In early June 2014, the TFR brought Urlashov the next bribery of bribery . According to the department, the mayor and his subordinates in 2012-2013 extorted 14 million rubles from the funds transferred to the enterprise to the work of the work performed. In addition, the TFR says, at the same time, Urlashov received 30 million rubles from the director of another company in exchange for a promise to realize the property of another enterprise in favor of this organization, the shareholder of which is the Yaroslavl City Hall.

In July 2014, the investigation in the case of Urlashov was completed , and he began familiarization with the materials.
