Andrey Patrushev, the youngest son of the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, the former head of the FSB, Nikolai Patrushev, has created a new position in the leadership of Gazprom Neft - Deputy General Director for the Development of Offshore Projects.
Gazprom Neft confirmed information about the creation of a new leadership position and the appointment of Andrey Patrushev to it.
The official decision on personnel changes in the leadership of Gazprom Neft, the company explained, will be made at a meeting of the Board of Directors on April 6.
“The work experience of Andrey Patrushev in recent years was connected precisely with the implementation of offshore projects in Russia and abroad,” the company said.
- Andrey Patrushev was born in 1981. In 2003 he graduated from the Academy of the FSB and until 2006 he was a personnel officer of the service - he held the position of deputy head of a department that oversaw, among other things, the oil market. In 2006-2011, he was an adviser to the chairman of the board of directors of Rosneft - this post was then held by Igor Sechin.
- In May 2007, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Andrey Patrushev the Order of Honor "for his labor achievements and many years of work", which was actively discussed in the media.
- Before joining Gazprom Neft, Andrey Patrushev also served as Deputy General Director of Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and before that he was Deputy Head of Zarubezhneft, including participating in the work of Vietsovpetro, which develops fields on the Vietnamese shelf.
