The participant in the “Blue Horseman” movement Oleg Basov made an act of baptism of the painting of Malevich “Black Square” by the Jerusalem Cross, obviously rejuvenating his hand with holy water. The goal of the action, according to Basov, was to save the masterpiece of Malevich from the Orthodox jihad, whose representatives could begin to burn the paintings in the near future, as it was during the Inquisition on the streets of the cities, but now, thanks to the "blue square", hands will not rise on the "black square" from the radicals. The action was called: "Crucifixion".
