Judge of the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow Elena Kaneva extended to the Crimean prisoner Oleg Sentsov the term of detention in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center until May 11. This was reported by the correspondent of "faces" from the courtroom. The senior investigator for particularly important cases of the Investigative Department of the FSB Major of Justice Artem Burdin, the leading Politzeck case, petitioned for the extension of the arrest. The previous term of the arrest of the Crimean prisoner expired on April 11.
During the hearing, Burdin said that the investigation in the Sentsov case was completed on Friday, April 10, the arrested will be charged with the final edition. The final charge to another Crimean prisoner, Alexander Kolchenko, was brought on March 31 .
Meanwhile, Burdin said, the case of the third of the four not yet convicted defendants in the case - who cooperated with the investigation of Alexei Chirniya - was allocated to separate production and has already been sent to the prosecutor to approve the indictment.
Lawyer Vadim Samokhin, objecting to the extension of the arrest, paid attention to rude inconsistencies in the case. In particular, he noted that two organizations were recognized as victims in the case, but the damage allegedly suffered from the actions of the accused was not indicated.
Sentsov himself in his speech said : "The federal lawless service in your country knows how to sew things with very large white stitches." There is no doubt, the political prisoner continued that he would be condemned by the 20th year. “This period is called on me on the first day before my official detention,” he explained. “My lawyers are hinting that I will find a very difficult and interesting life in the camp, if I get there at all.”
“But I’m not afraid of threats, hints,” Sentsov concluded. “And this period is 20 years - I am not terrible. Because I know that the era of the Bloody dwarf reign in your country will end earlier.”

The film director and activist of Avtomaydan Sentsov was stolen by the FSB in Simferopol on May 10, 2014 and was tortured. At the same time, in the papers, the detention of the Crimean prisoner dates from May 11. In the middle of the same month, the political prisoner was taken to the metropolitan pre -trial detention center Lefortovo.

On December 17, 2014, the Moscow City Court sentenced Afanasyev to seven years of maximum security.
