
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine in Odessa detained ten saboteurs. According to Facebook, the press secretary of the President Svyatoslav Tsegolko, the head of the SBU Valentin Nalyvaichenko reported this to Petro Poroshenko.
According to him, in the framework of the fight against sabotage groups of special services, they conducted a special operation in Odessa, as a result of which ten people were detained. “The detainees, prepared a provocation,” wrote Tsegolko.
He also clarified that weapons and explosives were seized from the detainees.
On April 1, it was already reported that in Odessa a group was disclosed, which in December 2014 - March 2015 committed a number of terrorist attacks in the city. Three main members of the group were detained - the organizer and two of its accomplices - citizens of 55, 52 and 46 years old - activists of the Odessa Antimaydan. They explained that they had committed terrorist attacks in the struggle for "communist ideals." The anti -Maidanists took responsibility for ten crimes.
The Investigative Department of the regional department of the SBU opened the case under Articles 14 - 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempt on the attack). The detainees were announced suspicion of this case.
