Molebes will be in support of import substitution in Moscow

In Moscow temples in mid -April, prayers will begin to help farmers to support import substitution. This was reported by Izvestia with reference to the deputy chairman of the Synodal Department for the interaction of the Church and the Society of the Russian Orthodox Church Roman Bogdosarov.

“We hope that prayers will help farmers who want to work peacefully. People working on Earth are trying to raise our Russian agriculture, get a good harvest and, as a result, contribute to the process of import substitution in the country,” Bogdosarov said.

As the clergyman noted, in the current economic situation, state support turns out to be large agrarian companies, and farmers feel constant pressure both from the regional authorities and from producers of seeds that increase prices.

According to Bogdosarov, after Easter, the Synodal Department will determine in what days and with what frequency prayers will pass. He added that rural priests according to the pre -revolutionary tradition regularly hold worship for a prosperous crop.

In March, in one of the churches of Moscow, at the request of the people who suffered from the crisis, a prayer service was served about the sending of God's assistance to mortgage borrowers who were on the verge of bankruptcy.

In August 2014, when a significant part of Russia was covered by natural fires, a prayer for the preservation of forests was held in the Moscow Church. In August 2013, Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin convened believers to pray for riding the forests of the Moscow Region from the invasion of a brown beetle.
