In early December, Bogatenkova sent a statement of threats addressed to her address to the FSB and the prosecutor's office of the Stavropol Territory. She said that around the midnight on November 30, two men came to her house, threatening her with arrest and reprisal. In her statements, the human rights activist expressed confidence that the threats came from the same people who were fabricated against her criminal cases. In both departments, the statements were accepted for consideration, however, it is not known about any actions taken by them in connection with the content of these papers.

In August, Bogatenkova transferred to the Presidential Council of Human Rights information about those who died on August 9 and 11, 2014 in the area of ​​the military training ground in the Rostov region nine Russian contractors from the 18th motorized rifle brigade (military unit No. 2777).
