Today at about 10:00 in the Oktyabrsky district of the city of Stavropol, the second secretary of the Stavropol regional branch of the Communists of Russia party, Mikhail Abrahamyan, was detained. According to the press service of the party, 10 minutes before the arrest, Abrahamyan was hit with a shoulder by an unknown citizen, after which police officers arrived and detained him on charges of petty hooliganism (20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
The press service of the party reported that recently Mikhail Abrahamyan and a number of Stavropol communists have already been repeatedly illegally detained by police officers after holding opposition protests. Abrahamyan's party comrades are sure that this detention was provoked by the governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov.
