Zinovy Birtman. The first album
Following the track, which was considered lost for 34 years , Colta.ru is the full first album of the mysterious Zinoviy Birtman, whose figure is attended by enthusiasts from the Heritage Society, the Tyumen Arkady of the North, a poet, a musician and a writer who died in 1981 and left behind about forty songs, twelve stories and one novel.
Nine songs included in the first and, perhaps, not the last album of Birtman, were recorded in Tyumen under the leadership of Dmitry Naumov (“Heritage”) by musicians who personally knew the author and performed with him. 67 people took part in the record.

Zinovy Birtman is an unknown planet. The deeper I plunge into his work, the worse it becomes me. If his songs became widely known then, the world would be different.
The reason why Birtman's name turned out to be forgotten is still unclear. Perhaps some of his work seemed too brave, perhaps in the life of Zinovy Arkadyevich there were not only friends, and perhaps in his biography there was a woman who could not forgive. All these secrets hide the past, but the fact remains. Zinovy Birtman to this day is unknown to the general public. But for a long time this could not last.
The famous musical critic Artemy Troitsky, who was familiar with Zinovy Arkadyevich, says that he would put Birtman on a par with Arkady North and Konstantin Belyaev.
The Heritage Society arose as a union of like -minded people, people with an aggravated sense of justice, those for whom the words “memory”, “conscience”, “honor”, “homeland” are not an empty phrase. Years of hard work, kilometers of films, tons of yellowed pages - everything was subordinated to a great goal: to return the Birtman to the people!
And now - two and a half years of painstaking work were crowned with success! Zinovy Birtman is reborn from nothingness. The famous musical critic Artemy Troitsky, who was familiar with Zinovy Arkadyevich, says that he would put Birtman on a par with Arkady North and Konstantin Belyaev. The number of fans of the talent of a real innovator, the genius of the Russian song is growing every day. The melody of Birtman sounded in the sensational performance “Joosif Brodsky”. More recently, in one of the theaters of St. Petersburg, the evening of memory of the great poet and musician was held, and in early July, the updated composition of VIA “Good evening” (Tyumen) with a program of Birtman's songs will act as special guests at the Stereo L ETO festival in St. Petersburg.
