Retro-tram with the President of Poland came off the rails

President of Poland Bronislav Komorovsky got into a traffic accident, moving to retro-trames as part of his election campaign. The incident occurred in the city of Konstantinuv-Luda. The tram on which Komorovsky rode came off the rails, reports Dziennik.pl .

“Many, if something similar happened to them, said that this is a provocation,” Komorovsky joked after the incident. It is reported that the retro tram moved very slowly, the speed did not exceed 15 kilometers per hour. As a result of the accident, no one was injured and did not fall. “This is an accident,” explained the wagoned Thomas Adamkevich.

The reason why the tram got off the rails is still installed. Komorovsky continued his path along the region on the "Broncobus" - the bus of the head of state.

We will remind, earlier it became known that Komorovsky refused a trip to Moscow for celebrations on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. He announced his decision on the air of local television. “There is no such opportunity that in this situation, Poland President participates in the celebration, observing the Victory Parade in the conditions of the ongoing war in Ukraine,” TASS president quoted the words.

Earlier, the Polish authorities decided to conduct an alternative to the Moscow celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory. Currently, the presidential office is working on this issue. It is expected that solemn events will take place on May 8 at Cape Westerplatt in Gdansk, where the Second World War began.
