The court decided to block the Children-404 group. The decision was made by the Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg. Thus, in the near future, the support group for LGBT teenagers in the VKontakte social network will not be available in the territory of the Russian Federation. Earlier, community administrator Elena Klimova was fined 50,000 rubles under Part 2 of Article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“Promotion of non-traditional sexual relations among minors”). However, a higher court later overturned that decision.

April 7, Tuesday Ecologist Vitishko went on a hunger strike. So the activist protests against the refusal of the Supreme Court to consider his complaint. Yevgeny Vitishko asked the court to review the decision of the Tuapse city court. In December 2013, the court replaced the ecologist's suspended sentence with a real one. In addition to protecting Vitishko, the prosecutor's office of the Krasnodar Territory filed a complaint. But the departmental complaint did not have time to consider. In December 2014, the Supreme Court ordered the case from the regional court, but Deputy Prosecutor General Sabir Kekhlerov withdrew the prosecutor's complaint.

The Ministry of Justice has included the Transparency International-R Center in the list of foreign agents. According to a press release on the department's website, "the fact that the named organization conforms to the characteristics of a non-profit organization that performs the functions of a foreign agent was established during an audit by the prosecutor's office." The audit took place at the end of January 2015. After that, the Taganskaya inter-district prosecutor's office issued a submission, on the basis of which the Ministry of Justice included the center in the register of "foreign agents." However, the submission itself has not yet entered into force, as TI-R is challenging it in the Tagansky District Court.

April 8, Wednesday A cancer-stricken prisoner died in the colony. In March 2015, the Ingodinsky District Court of Chita denied the conditionally early release of seriously ill Vladimir Klimov. Judge Svetlana Akhmylova motivated the decision by the fact that the prisoner had not improved enough and did not need treatment outside the colony. Meanwhile, the renal cell cancer diagnosed in Klimov is included in the government-approved list of diseases that prevent serving a sentence. Klimov's complaint to the European Court of Human Rights was communicated in August 2014 and is awaiting consideration.
