The budget of the basketball CSKA in the 2014/2015 season exceeded 2 billion rubles

The budget of the CSKA basketball club in the 2014/2015 season amounted to 2 billion 277 million 500 thousand rubles, becoming the largest among the ten Russian clubs of the VTB United League.

On Tuesday, the Honorary President of the United League of VTB Sergey Ivanov published the budgets of Russian clubs participating in the tournament.

The total budget of CSKA is almost three times more than that of Himkim, which are in second place, the budget of which is 890 million 424 thousand rubles, the R-Sport agency reports.

The budget of the VTB league itself is 375 million. The VTB league completed the reporting period with a profit of five million rubles, while last season she suffered losses of 14 million.

Budgets of other clubs:

"Lokomotiv-Kuban" 752 300 000 rub.
UNICS 730 715 000
"Zenith" 393 613 000
"Nizhny Novgorod" 392 165 000
"Yenisei" 213 156 000
"Red October" 164 075 000
"Red Wings" 160,000,000
"Autodor" 142 736 000

The CSKA budget in the 2014/15 season grew compared to last year in rubles for reasons such as fluctuations in currencies, changing tax expenses and redemption of rights to television broadcasting, said Army President Andrei Vatutin.

“CSKA lives not only in Russian, but also in European reality, therefore, in a sense, it is more convenient for me to look at the club’s budget in its Euro -Equience,” Vatutin told reporters. “And in the euro the CSKA budget compared to last year has not only increased, it became even less.”
