The Italian mafioso was arrested in the Spanish resort, convinced in absentia to 20 years in prison

Spanish police officers conducted the detention of a dangerous foreign criminal hiding in Costa del Sol (Malaga Province). In the hands of employees of the Civil Guard (militarized police), one of the leaders of the Neapolitan Mafia of Camorra Lusio Morron, nicknamed Spalcellal, fell into the hands of the leaders of the Neapolitan Mafia. He was sentenced in absentia to a long period of imprisonment.

53-year-old Morron was listed in the list of the most dangerous Italian criminals put on the international wanted list. He was hiding from justice for five years, the official website of the Civil Guard reports.

According to investigators, Spallucell is the leader of the Teste Matte clan ("crazy heads"). He has been led by the group since December 2008, when his predecessor Paolo Peshe was arrested.

Morron is accused of drug trafficking and extortion. The Naples court sentenced him in absentia to 20 years in prison.

Mafioso managed to go on the trail in 2013, when the Italian detectives received operational information, according to which Morron could hide in Spain. It was later established that the coastal city of Benalmaden became the refuge of the criminal. Italian carbines arrived there, who, together with the Spanish colleagues, began to survive in places of accumulation of tourists and in the institutions where immigrants from the Apennine gather.

On April 10, the suspect was identified and detained. Morron had a fake Italian passport with him another name.

We add that the clan "crazy heads", which was led by Spalucell, refers to groups of a new species that arose in the mid-1990s. Their members challenged the foundations and traditions of the Neapolitan Mafia. The fresh "gangster shoots" distinguished great cruelty and a tendency to drug addiction. And most members of the Crazy heads are former football fans.

In 2014, the Spanish law enforcement agencies detained 14 fugitive criminals in the country (five Spaniards, five Italians, two British, one Mexican and one Colombian). Three more Italian mafiosi and two criminals from Colombia have been captured since the beginning of 2015. In particular, just a few days ago it was reported about the arrest of the Boss of the Neapolitan Mafia Carlo Leon . He, like Morron, was hiding in the territory of Costa del Sol-in San Pedro de Alcantara. Carlo was tracked when he came to eat his favorite coastal restaurant.

Every year, the Italian authorities adjust the list of 100 most dangerous criminals put on the wanted list. These include the bosses of three mafia structures (Neapolitan trunk, the Sicilian goat of the Nostra and Calabrian NDranget), as well as terrorists.
