The investigation of the criminal case against the artist Pyotr Pavlensky, instituted after the “Freedom” action in February 2014, has been completed. Pavlensky is accused of vandalism: according to the authors of the socio-psychological and linguistic expertise, the artist, setting fire to tires on the Small Konyushenny Bridge in St. Petersburg, desecrated it and also showed disrespect for society. This was reported on April 15 by Interfax.
The second part of Article 214 of the Criminal Code, imputed to Pavlensky, provides for punishment of up to three years in prison.
