Anatoly Vtorushin, a 70-year-old resident of Tomsk, a former school teacher, accused of organizing “uncoordinated” solo pickets in support of those convicted in the Bolotnaya case, was hospitalized from the courtroom on April 14. This was reported on April 15 by the local news agency TV2.
In February 2014, Vtorushyn, along with other picketers, was summoned to the police for an interview. After that, three administrative cases were brought against him for organizing uncoordinated pickets.
The trial in the first case was scheduled for 14 April. Vtorushin asked to postpone the meeting to another day. On April 14, people in uniform came to his house, but he did not open the door for them. Later, Vtorushin was nevertheless detained on the street and taken to court. In court, the pensioner felt bad. The ambulance arrived and took the pensioner to the hospital, where he remains under police supervision.
Two more meetings are scheduled for April 27 and 28.
