The deputy chairman of the Saratov unit of the Yabloko party, Alexander Zhurbin, was detained on April 15 during a public hearing in the building of the administration of the Frunze district. This was reported by the publication "Fourth power".
According to the publication, at the hearing, Zhurbin spoke out against the construction of the church on a place previously intended for the library, after which they refused to give a word on the following issue. After that, he announced a violation of the regulations and tried to tear out the microphone from the hands of the deputy head of the Saratov administration Andrei Gnusin, writes the publication. The police were called to the administration, and a break was announced in the meeting.
When the police arrived, Gnusin invited the participants to vote whether the actions of Zhurbin are hooliganism. Most of those present agreed with the position of an official, after which Zhurbin was detained.
