In Sevastopol, the occupation police dispersed the rally of the movement "Protect Sevastopol", directed against the lawlessness of the authorities of the city and personally Governor Sergei Shanyilo. This was reported by "Crimea. Realities."
A rally notification was submitted in accordance with Russian legislation. The leader of the movement Vasily Fedorin in the city administration issued a document confirming the receipt of the application. However, the day before the rally, officials said that they did not receive any notifications, and therefore, the impending action was not agreed.
Nevertheless, on Wednesday at 16:00, activists reached the Nakhimov Square indicated in the application. When about 10 people gathered, the police approached them, demanding to stop the "illegal mass event."
The demonstrators did not obey. Then the security forces invited them to go to the police car to draw up administrative protocols. Activists also refused this. After that, the police detained Fedorin and two other organizers of the action.
Comrades of the detainees began to picket police cars.
During the drawing up the protocol, Fedorin was bad, he was taken away by an ambulance. The other two detainees were released after registration of administrative materials.
Earlier, the movement “defend Sevastopol” repeatedly arranged shares with the demand for the resignation of Channel and the entire city administration.
