The summer garden will become paid

From June 1, you will need to pay 100 rubles for entering the summer garden in St. Petersburg. This was announced by the Echo of Moscow radio stations Vladimir Gusev, director of the Russian Museum, a branch of which is a summer garden.

“Now, unfortunately, the Ministry of Culture has set us a demand to earn more than 15% of extra -budgetary funds. This is, first of all, the entrance fee. That is, 33 million we must somehow earn. <...> If we do not reach these indicators, there will be such penalties that will interfere with the development of the museum, ”Gusev said.

He said that the price of tickets to the Russian Museum is still left the same (280 rubles), but "we will be forced to enter a moderate entrance fee into the summer garden."

The director of the Russian Museum specified that this will happen not on the opening day of the summer garden, on May 1, but from June 1. According to Gusev, the fee will be set “within 100 rubles”, and all the benefits and discounts operating against visitors to the Russian Museum will apply to visitors to the summer garden.
