
The hockey players of the St. Petersburg SKA achieved the third victory over the Kazan Ak Bars in the final series of playoffs of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
The meeting, held on Friday in the Ice Palace of the city on the Neva, ended in favor of its owners with a score of 3: 2. The army team led in the series up to four victories 3-1.
Patrick Tresen (0:38), Jimmy Ericksson (33:36) and Evgeny Dadonov (40:44) distinguished themselves among the winners. At Ak Bars, the goals were thrown by Oscar Melller (30:00) and Justin Azeved (59:19).
SKA twice led in an account with a difference of two goals, and Ak Bars reduced the lag for both times, and the second time the Kazan achieved this 41 seconds before the end of the third period.
The match was preceded by a minute of silence dedicated to the memory of the famous Russian coach Valery Belousov, whodied on April 16 at the 67th year of his life.
Thus, SKA strengthened the advantage over the opponent in the series to four victories. The next confrontation of the finalists, which can become decisive, will be held on April 19 in Kazan.
