The Ministry of Emergencies created the Institute of Culture for Enlightenment of Employees

The Institute of Culture was created in the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, the purpose of which is the spiritual and moral development of the company, said the head of the new unit of the department, director Nikolai Burlyaev at an press conference in Interfax .

“We talked with the head of the Ministry of Emergencies Vladimir Puchkov, I suggested that he create a structure in his department responsible for culture. And then the Institute of Culture appeared in the Ministry of Emergencies, I was appointed its leader, ”Burlyaev explained.

He clarified that from April 20, the Institute organizes the broadcast of “spiritual and moral cinema” for employees of the Ministry of Emergencies and their families. According to Burlyaev, there are 7,400 films collected in 23 years at the Moral Knight Film Festival.

“For the viewer, these films will be new, we plan to broadcast them through the EMERCOM satellite to the control centers, and from there you can also on the Internet,” Burlyaev explained. The first broadcast film will be Andrei Tarkovsky's Ivanovo Childhood.
