
After a serious illness at the 52nd year of life, writer Dmitry Bakin died.

Dmitry Gennadievich Bakin (Bocharov) was born in 1964 in the Donetsk region, worked as a driver.
He debuted in 1987 by a story published in the magazine October. The last story-after a 10-year break-was released in 2009. Two books of prose were published - “Chain” (1991) and “Country of origin” (1996).
He was awarded the prizes of the magazines "Spark" (1989) and "Banner" (1995), Antibuker Awards (1995). The books of Dmitry Bakin were translated and published in England, France, Germany and other countries.
The writer lived is closed, never appeared in public. In an interview with 2008, the publication “View” (the answers to questions were written by hand and sent by mail) Dmitry Bakin said that he writes the novel “From Death to Birth”.
