In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, an explosion occurred at the field: a reservoir with oil exploded and caught fire. TASS and Interfax report two victims, Lifenews - about two dead as a result of the incident. At the time of writing, rescuers have not yet arrived at the fire site, the fire protection of the enterprise is working on the spot.

The emergency occurred in the Purovsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug at the East Tarkosalinsky deposit. According to the Ural Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies, a reservoir of 1 thousand cubic meters exploded, then oil fire occurred.

The emergency message was received by the Crisis Management Center on Saturday at 10:30 Moscow time from the dispatcher of the unified duty dispatch service of the Purovsky district.

The press service of the Ural Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Interfax said that, according to preliminary data, the reservoir was destroyed as a result of the explosion, two people were injured.

A private fire department of the enterprise is operating on the spot: 13 personnel and 5 units of equipment. Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies go to the place of the explosion.
