
The Crimean human rights activist, representative of the Contact Group of Human Rights in the Yalta region, Emir-Usein Cook, was detained by Russian security forces in the "extremist" article of the Criminal Code (excitement of hatred or enmity). This was announced on his Facebook page by colleague Cook on the contact group Mammet Mambetov.

It is assumed that the detention was carried out by the FSB operatives, but Jepparov is not sure of this, because there were no identification marks on the camouflage of the security forces. According to Majlis, at home at Kuku, the human rights activist brothers tried to fix the actions of the security forces on the video. However, they were not allowed to do this, and one of the detainee brothers caused bodily harm.

In the afternoon, at the end of the search, the detainee was taken away in an unknown direction. According to the assumption of the head of the Central Election Commission, the Kurultata of the Crimean Tatar people Zair Samedlyaev, Kuku was taken for interrogation to the Central Bank.
