Since April 10, Ukraine has not paid for the supply of electricity from Russia to the Donbass. This was announced by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchishin, without specifying what kind of Russian electricity supplies he was talking about.
In addition, Demchyshyn added, Ukraine has stopped paying for the generation of electricity in the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions controlled by the separatists.
“The generation that is located in that territory is not paid for, the flow is minimized, and plus, from April 10, we do not pay for electricity that is supplied through Russia,” said the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
