
The head of the Ordzhonikidzevsky substation of the ambulance station Ufa Svetlana Yusupova was hospitalized on the 33rd day of the hunger strike. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the protest participant Irina Silence.
“Yusupova was hospitalized the night before with hypoglycemia - the blood sugar fell,” the silence said. “Despite hospitalization, Svetlana continues to starve. She put drops, but does not accept food.”
In total, four ambulance employees are now continuing the protest.
Ambulance officers in Ufa began a hunger strike in mid -March . They achieve compliance with the constitutional and labor rights of employees of the SSMP, termination of discrimination and administrative pressure on employees. Participants in the action also require the resolve of the personnel issue - to fully equip the ambulance teams, restore pediatric and children's resuscitation brigades. Another point of the requirements of the starving is the resignation of the head physician of the station and his deputy. The starving completely refuse to eat, taking only water. At the same time, they will continue to fulfill their duties.
During the hunger strike, the number of its participants reached 13 people. However, the nine had to stop the action for health reasons.
On April 4, an ambulance picket took place in Ufa. About 35 people took part in the agreed action. The picket participants demanded to equip the brigades, stop discrimination and administrative pressure on Ufa ambulance staff, and restore pediatric and children's resuscitation brigades in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health. They also turned to the head of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov with a request to take a solution to the issue of personal control.
