In the "case of February 26", the ATR operator was detained

In Crimea on Monday evening, the operator of the Crimean Tatar television channel ATR Escender Nebiev was detained after the search. This was reported on her Facebook page by the Deputy General Director of the TV channel Lily Budzhurova. As the journalist Osman Pashayev specified , the operator was detained in the “February 26 case”.

Pashayev called the names of investigators of the TFR involved in the detention of Nebiev. This is Bulat Azizov and Pavel Nickel. “Here, apparently, the special cynicism is that the affairs against the Crimean Tatars were Kazan,” the journalist wrote about Azizov.

The “case of February 26” was initiated by the clashes of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea between the participants in rallies organized according to supporters and opponents of the Euromaidan. For today in the case of five accused; All of them are Crimean Tatars, participants in the rally in support of Euromaidan.

The first involved in the case - the deputy head of the Medzhlis of the Crimean Tatar people Akhtem Chiygoz - is charged with part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Russia (the organization of mass riots), which provides from 8 to 15 years of the colony. Escener Kantemirov, Escener Emirvaliev and Ali Asanov is charged with part 2 of the same article. What is the accusation of the fifth defendant, Talyata Yunusov, is unknown.
