
On Tuesday, April 21, in Moscow, the tenth ceremony of the awarding of the winners of the International Literary Competition “Russian Prize” was held.
In the nomination “Poetry”, the prize was awarded to the poet Jan Kaplinsky (Estonia) for the book of poems “White butterflies of the Night”, RIA Novosti reports. The second place was taken by Bakhyt Kenzheev (Canada, “pre -war. Poems of 2010–2013”), the third place was Evgeny Klyuyev (Denmark, “Music in the Titanic”).
The laureate of the first prize in the nomination “Big Prose” was Alexei Makushinsky (Germany), the author of the novel “Steamboat in Argentina”, the second place by Alexander Milstein (Germany, the novel “Parallel Promotion”), the third place was at Maxim Matkovsky (Ukraine, the novel “Parrot in the Bear Berlog”).
The best in the nomination “Malaya Prose” was recognized as the story “Prague” Yuri Serebryansky (Poland), Vladimir Lidsky (Kyrgyzstan) received a second degree diploma for the story “Load to Heaven”, the third place was taken by the author of the story of “betrayal and treason” Andrei Krasnyaty (Ukraine).
A special prize and diploma of the organizing committee and the jury of the contest “For contribution to saving and developing the traditions of Russian culture outside the Russian Federation” this year was awarded to Georgy Borisov (Bulgaria) for the publication of the Fakel magazine.
The Russian Russian Prize International Literary Competition was established in 2005. This is the only Russian prize for Russian -language writers living in any country in the world outside of Russia.
