Ex-genwate director of the "Mostovik" admitted in the theft

The ex-leader of the Omsk NPO Mostovik Oleg Shishov concluded a deal with the investigation and pleaded guilty to theft in the amount of 1.9 billion rubles, TASS reports. The corresponding statement made an investigator in the case in the Basmani court.

“Shishov filed a statement on the pre -trial agreement that was satisfied. Shishov pleaded guilty in full, gave the expert testimonies exposing another accused,” the investigator said, adding that new accused could be involved in the case.

Shishov himself was left under arrest.

Earlier, within the framework of the agreement, Shishov fully pleaded guilty in the case of the theft of funds allocated for the construction of the aquarium, taking on obligations to expose the accomplices of the crime. They are the head of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Directorate for Construction in the Far Eastern Federal District" of the Presidential Administration, acting as a customer for the construction of the oceanarium, Andrei Poplavsky and "persons not established by the investigation."

The accused will not be able to avoid criminal prosecution, but will be able to count on consideration of his case in a special manner, which guarantees him the minimum term.

According to investigators, Shishov, with Poplavsky’s knowledge, concluded fictitious subcontracting agreements with Kondra, Gidrotx, Stack-DV and others that did not participate in the construction of the aquarium and did not have production facilities at all.

Almost 2 billion rubles received by them were cashed and stolen, and the oceanarium, which was supposed to be elevated to the APEC summit in 2012, has not yet been built. After his discontent in connection with the delays in the construction of the complex was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, two criminal cases of fraud were instituted.
