Competent pop-rock motives, packed into a signature sound, this time with a noticeable share of synthetics - guitars are relegated to the background in the absence of Yuri Tsaler; texts in which the main thing is not the meaning, but an expressionistic language game, behind which, however, all sorts of thoughts are guessed, although it is not clear what; the unmistakable feline vocals of Ilya Lagutenko, who knows that "it's always better to listen to your inner voice." In the concept of the album, "piracy" is interpreted in line with the translation from ancient Greek, in which "pirate" meant "trying his luck, testing his fate." There are probably no armor-piercing hits on the disc, but some kind of tired happiness is found, and it listens rather fascinatingly. Live, you can be sure, it will go with a bang: Lagutenko is a brilliant showman with expressive facial expressions, and Mumiy Troll as a whole is an excellent concert group that can qualitatively light up what is on the deck of a warship, what is in the mouth of a volcano, what is in exotic countries, that at their own festival in Vladivostok. The Yotaspace club on April 25 and 26 will submit even more so.
