The deputy announced that he voluntarily wrote a statement to the dissertation council and assured that "purely legally plagiarism could not be here."
“Having studied all the claims carefully, I saw that some of the materials may fall under the definition of“ unscrupulous borrowing ”. However, they are not taken from other people's work, but from the materials that I used for reports and discussions - what is connected with deputy activities, ”the former speaker of the Moscow City Duma noted.
Platonov emphasized that he did not see the need to “make excuses and prove something to someone” and intends to present a new work to defend a doctoral dissertation during the year.
